My husband and I are coming up on our two year anniversary of starting our journey to become licensed foster parents with COC. Thankful for the guidance that Clarissa gave us through the licensing process. While getting licensed and staying licensed can be stressful and overwhelming, Clarissa makes it easier with email reminders and makes sure we are up to date. She is a kind, and friendly person to work with. Also, want to acknowledge Monica as our case manager. She’s very knowledgeable in this field and brings a very calming presence to the different emotions that foster parenting may bring. Since the first call to enquire about foster care, Circles of Care has been wonderful, personal, and professional. Our nerves and the unknowns about foster care were met with such personal care and professional information. Both of these are such a wonderful combination! They settled all the concerns and questions we had about the foster care journey. It is one of the best teams and groups of people with a depth of experience. We feel comfortable contacting any of them, when we have a question or concern. Each of them responds quickly and makes themselves available. When we were being certified, they met with us personally because we couldn’t make the set training hours due to our work schedule. Our case manager is one of a kind! She is knowledgeable, personal, helpful, experienced, and available. We can’t say enough good things about Circles of Care. We would choose them over again and again as our licensing agency! Circles of Care foster care / adoption agency has given us a blessed opportunity to foster boys from ages 2 to 18. Huge shout out to Circles of Care for making our licensing process great! We have fostered in the past with another agency and Circles of Care by far makes the process seam less. All trainings are laid out with the use of their webiste..so easy to enroll in the trainings at your convenience! They also offered the trainings in the evenings, which is great when you are a working family. We also received and email update of our licensing process and what items were pending so we could keep up with the process. This process requires the foster family to do work on their end while working with the staff at Circles of Care but Circles of Care makes it seam less! If even a small piece of your heart is interested in foster care or supporting foster parents/agencies, check out Circles of Care! They will help you every step of the way! We here licensed in another state and it was like five hating an uphill battle to become licensed at that location. We have always been impressed by CoC! A lot of things change when you bring a child into your life and you're really never ready to care for that child. However, Circles of Care has eased the way for a single foster parent like me. Needless to say, my experience with this agency has surpassed my expectations and love it! My case manager is attentive, caring and goes above and beyond for children placed in my household.
